At The Armory, athlete development is not random, reactive, or isolated.
Our programs are structured seasonally to align with competition schedules, physical development stages, and long-term athletic progression. Each season builds upon the last — creating continuity, progression, and purpose.
Athletes also benefit from structured independent training opportunities at The Armory Hockey Development Center. Open shooting, open stickhandling, and open gym access allow players to reinforce skills and build training ownership alongside their coach-led programming.
Athletes may participate in a single season or select program offerings. However, full seasonal participation — particularly through membership — is strongly encouraged for those committed to complete, integrated development.
Integration across environments produces the greatest long-term developmental return.
A lower-structure phase focused on recovery, movement quality, and reconnection with the game.
Long-term athlete development requires consistency.
Armory memberships provide increased access across seasons and ensures alignment with our integrated training model. Annual membership options are available.
True athlete development doesn’t happen in silos.
Our on-ice and off-ice training are intentionally designed to work together — not as separate services, but as complementary pieces of the same developmental plan.
Off-ice training builds the strength, movement efficiency, and resilience athletes need to execute skills effectively.
On-ice training reinforces those qualities through skating, puck skills, and game-relevant situations.
Together, they support complete athlete development, ensuring progress made in one environment carries over to the other.
